Definitely either the Cubs or the Dodgers. I suppose I would say the Cubs, because it's a heck of a lot easier to improve from "suck" to "decent" than from "Wild Card" to "Uncontended Division Leader." Also, the Cubs improved by having Lee and others return from injury, in addition to them throwing away money like they thought it was tax deductible.

I believe it is the Yankees. With the addition of Andy Pettitte,Doug Mientkiewz,Bobby Abreu for the entire year and Hidecki Matsui back from injury and the return of Roger Clemens the Yankees had a great off season.

I think the detroit tigers made the most improvement. Prior to going to the world series, the year before they were very crappy, and had one of the worst records in baseball. Then they went on to the world series. I think that is a very significant improvement.

i am a big time baseball fan. the yankees did good with pitching, but i think over all it was the philadelphia phillies. they filled in huge gaps with hitting and pitching. i think they even have a shot at the nl east for that reason and the lack of action the mets took

I like what the Dodgers did. Bringing in Pierre, Luis Gonzalez, Randy Wolf and Jason Schmidt set them up pretty nice for this season.

The Cubs moved up a notch but because of their crappy pitching, they will be lucky to win 85 games.

The Pirates! ha-ha-ha.. ahhhh. I've said that to myself every year for the past, I don't know, 10 years? Interesting how it started out making me mad, and now I just laugh and joke about it, good times.
