You can try buying from wholesalers at these sites before,I've used them before so I know they are genuine. I'm actually planning to start my own business selling handmade jewellery and accessories! Its really exciting for me but I have still got a few things to sort befrore I can get started. I also buy wholesale handmade things, lemme know if you have anything you'd like me to sell for you! I like the really girly and punky style types.

Canada : http://cndatrade.url40.net
UK : http://uktrade.url40.net
For all other countries: http://worldwide.url40.net
They are not only top rated but also provide 100s of wholesale providers for every niche and category. I have used these before, the wholesalers have low order quantities and you can get some real bargains on there, plus saved loads from their clearance deals.
Best wishes

I have two favorite sources that I frequently use. Both are wholesalers, so you should get a decent order together before placing it. Ask around among other beaders and see who else is ready to order supplies. I do that and get a much better price that way.
My favorite source for findings and wire and such (I mainly work in sterling silver, but their base metal wire is good and is cheap) is the Santa Fe Jewelers Supply at www.sfjssantafe.com. Their site is designed for ordering, not for browsing, but once you're used to it, it's fine.
My favorite bead source is Fire Mountain Gems at www.firemountaingems.com. Their site is a little easier to browse around in, but their wire and findings are rather pricey compared to Santa Fe's. They have a much better selection of beads, though, and good prices on those. Check out their assortments, too, while you're there. They have a print catalog they'll send you free if you request it. Then you can browse anytime.

Although I frequently buy from Fire mountain gems the best place to get beads is Ebay. I have made over a hundred bead purchases from various sellers and was only disappointed one time. You will usually be able to find about any type of bead you want and the prices almost seem too good to be true.

I get most of my stuff from my local bead store, although I usually buy my swarovski from Micheal's (it's cheaper there). I like to see and pick out my beads, so I don't really do much mail order (I'd go through Rio Grande or Fire Mountain if I did). I also have pretty high quality standards, so places like Wal-Mart are out of the question.
