I'm a junior in high school and I am trying to come up with a list of colleges to look into. I am open to all sorts of suggestions. I think that I want to go to a school that is in or near a city (I'm from Vermont, we have nothing here!) and is fairly selective. I have a 4.165 GPA and I'm 5th in my class. I take all advanced/AP class and I play two sports (lacrosse and field hockey), I'm on the math team and a member of the Honors Program. I'm also the President of my church youth group. Any suggestions for me? I'm a little lost.

It sounds like you will have a lot of options, because your grades are good, your GPA will likely go up with the AP classes, and you have outside activities. Think about whether you want to go to a small or a larger school (big schools offer a lot of options, but you can get lost there), if you want to go to a school within your religious affiliation, if you want to keep up your sports (which are not played everywhere), whether you can afford to go to a private school or not, and what you think your major might be. Also, think about what kind of a relationship you hope to have with your family; a school in Oregon might sound good, but if you hope to be going home every weekend, that might not be the best place for you (on the other hand, some students are perfectly happy going home only at Christmas and during the summer). There are a lot of online sources into which you can plug your preferences and get a list of possiblities, and most schools offer a lot of online information and virtual tours these days to give you an initial sense of the place.

It seems like you're well on your way to a good college! Keep up the good work, and you will likely be able to get a scholarship at any college in the country. Look into Duke University, the University of Kentucky, the University of Lousiville, and Xavier University if you are looking to apply at a college in the city. They are all renowned for their academic programs, and I'm sure they'd all accept a student like you with open arms!

You shouldn't worry. Just keep up the good work. I'd say you'd have a good chance of getting into an Ivy League!
