Considering at least one bat breaks everyday during the season i'd go with the ball. They never break into oblivion.

ball wacked the **** out of a million times then get tossed away or given to an idiotic kid fan who has ketchup all over his hands then has to get red

A Ball of coarse,you get more action,playing catch,ground balls,being pitched,fielded,pepper,hot-box,well you get the pitcher(no pun intended)
