Should Clinton have been impeached, even though his leadership and the leadership of our country was not in jeopardy?

He lied in Federal court. That is a crime. He was not impeached because of what he did with Lewinsky.

The Lewinsky issue was brought up in court to demonstrate his willingness to lie. He was under investigation for misappropriating tax money through the Rose Law Firm among other mischief. It is common practice to show someone is lying under oath to then cast doubt on the credibility of the rest of their testimony.

I think the President should demonstrate moral leadership - something clearly beyond the grasp of the Clintons. After all, he is the public face of our country in international affairs.

Wrongdoings must not be tolerated even when it is a small thing as compared to the position of the President. People will cheat on small things and eventually cheat in bigger scales because they feel that it will just be alright with the society. Morality must be maintained.

no clinton should not have been impeached, to me he exemplified the moral standards of america. it is almost all ameircan to cheat on your spouse. if his wife stood by him, what else could anyone else say?

i do no think morals and politics should mix. the obligation of our leader is to make sure things are just. that is more important than any moral.

I DONT THINK HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPEACHED BECAUSE HE'S HUMAN LIKE THE REST OF US, BUT HILLARY MOST LIKELY HANDLED IT IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS.
