The only international treaty signed at Versailles was the 1919 "Treaty of Versailles", which brought an official end to World War 1.

The treaty was signed in the Hall of Mirrors (Galerie des Glaces) at the Palace. This site was deliberately chosen as the place to humiliate Germany, because it was in this same Hall of Mirrors that the German Empire had been officially proclaimed when the French were defeated in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-71).
