Instead of wasting time learning to be a whining con artist, why don't you prove to them you really want it by getting a job and saving the money for it. Possibly if you show you're willing to work for it rather than have it handed to you, they might decide to chip in on the purchase price. Money doesn't grow on trees.

Please do yourself a favor and get a J-O-B. I don't care how old you are , just don't act like a spoiled brat, save up, and make some money. It took me only two months to get $475. I was 13 so age doesn't matter. You'll also feel much better about yourself and will have the benefit of saying you worked to buy it. Or just show them all the cool things the 360 is capable of (such as linking your computer and entertainment system together, and being able to download HIGH DEFINITION movies straight to the hard drive. But you'll need Xbox Live to get the movies and such. *wink *wink.

Maybe you can earn the money from them by doing household jobs that aren't usually yours to do. Washing the car, for example. Showing some initiative might impress them, so if you ask what you can do to earn cash, they might give you some ideas. If you offer to earn half the money by babysitting or doing yard work for neighbors, they will probably pitch in more than half. I don't think there's any sound reason you can give them to just buy it for you. You are going to have to show them how important it is to you by being willing to work for it. They'll be proud of your efforts and might surprise you with it sooner than you think.

Christmas is a long time away lol
Is your birthday coming up some what soon?
It hard to tell your parents to give you a random $600 gift (or how much it cost) unless they are multi-billionaires lol then you should have 360 of them already
So in conclusion, I don't think it happening, sorry dude

Wow, expensive toy for mom and dad to buy. You better get a head start on all the housework and chores that you should be doing if you want them to consider buying it for you. Making sure your schoolwork and grades are good will help too.

If you're 18, I'd tell you to get a job. If you younger, then you need to persist for your birthday. Unless your parents are rich, they aren't going to buy that for you randomly. Kids these days...spoiled rotten.
