Well, yes and no. Yes because that is very few and no because they are AP classes for the fact that there can't be anymore. As long as any of those class you mentioned fall into the GED or Major classes at whatever university you're going, you're fine.

Colleges look at the courses that your school offers (your counselor will send this to them when you apply to the school), so they'll know if you've taken advantage of the opportunities that your school offers. You won't be penalized for not taking classes that your school doesn't even offer! But it is definitely a good idea to take as many AP classes as you can. Not only does it show that you're a dedicated student, but also you can receive college credit for them, which means you will have more time in your schedule once you get to college to take other classes. As far as retaking bio or us history, you should ask your school counselor about that; the honors classes may cover different material or cover it in less depth than the AP classes. I know at my high school we had Pre-AP classes and AP classes, and the Pre-AP classes were different because they were what we were supposed to take as freshmen and sophomores, and then the AP classes as juniors and seniors. But the Pre-AP classes were still equivalent to what had previously been known as Honors classes, they just changed the name. So that might be the idea at your school, too.

I think you'll be just fine if you take those three classes. My school offered the exact same AP classes.
I took calculus, U.S. history, Spanish, and U.S. government online.
I know that you won't have a problem taking biology as an AP course. Colleges expect that you take it freshman or sophomore year, and then take AP junior or senior year. I don't know about history. They might think of that as a repeat.
I think if you take those 3 APs, and get good grades you're all set for both of those universities. Study for the SATs and good luck!

I would say no. I went to a little high school that only offered AP spanish, calc, physics and gov.
I took them all. More important is that you are diversified. Academics, sports, social....they're all important. Selective colleges want well rounded student. And test scores (ACT, SAT, SAT II) are also important.
I played varsity baseball and basketball, was in UIL (academic competition), student council, FCA, etc.....
Be well rounded...be active.
Best of Luck!

If you have already taken US History and Bio you should take AP English and AP Calc. Make sure your extracurriculars are good, too. Sports, clubs, honoraries, etc. Good luck.

Not at all. Most schools take that into consideration. They understand if there's a limited number of AP classes you can take. It's not your fault.

NO my school hasn't offered any until this year and we've had plenty of successful people. Now we still only have 4.
