whats the new style for tween girls -11 to 12- i need to know is jeans and a tank still in or should i wear skirts ? what about hair - a litte hire than shoulder langth brown- plz help

im about 5" long long legs i would say im pretty small

The 1980's.
you hair is probably fine you can make it bigger if need be.
don't worry about skirts verses jeans you do want some heal to wear with either and some longer shirts to go over your tank. ask you mom she can help if she remembers what she wore in the 80's

jeans and a tank will always be in
but lately i have been seeing lots of skinny jeans, were you can get all over the place, abercrombie kids has cute ones. Skinny jeans look cute with a nice pair of flats
the prep look usually consists of a jean skirt and leggings
also nice flowy skirts are good for spring
and plaid shorts are adorable
any of these would be a fashionable choice i think

fashion is a very vague word
it can be things from the past or present or what others think will be the future
there's no old or new styles for fashion
such as cut shirts and pants these days
there are portraits of ancient kings in englands that have cuts in their sleeves and pants.
leggings are from the 70's
and yet most teenagers wear them
wearing what you want, how you want it, where you want it is also fashion even if others or the majority doesn't like or wear it
creating something and wearing it is fashion

& My advice to you for '07 is take it to the next level, do something different, DONT go with the flow. It's all about originality.
Get blended layers with some long bangs. (depends what kind of face cut you have)

The way I dress, is always different then everyone, and no I am not any kind of wierdo, I just wear what looks nice on me. Mostly about my clothes people say, that I am modern and rich and that is all what I need. . . I don't know what style you need, and what you want to express about yourself. So, sorry, but there was not enough info.
