I've heard of people being on bedrest for the whole entire pregnancy. I was put on bedrest at 33-ish weeks and now I'm 34 weeks and going crazy. How do these moms do it?

I was put on bed rest at 13 weeks with my son due to a Sub Chronic bleed and I agree it is no fun!!! I was on it for 2 1/2 months and thought I would go nuts!! But just keep in mind, that it`s best for the baby and you...So either sit back and put your feet up and read a good book or get some good movies to watch!!! (I got into watching stuff like A Baby Story and Birth Day)......Good Luck!!

It's not fun. I was on bed rest from week 26 on - and then he was 4 days late!! I didn't stay down the whole time though, I had another child to care for as well.

Find some crafts or hobbies that you can do without too much exercise on your part, read lots of books, watch a lot of movies. You won't have a whole lot of time for any of it for a while afterwards.

Play Maple Story online - it's free and amusing. And it can be time consuming if you really get into it. www.mapleglobal.com

I know how you feel. I was put on bedrest at 12 weeks for a month! Just keep in mind you are doing it for your baby and try to keep busy w/ crafts, crossword puzzles, TV.......things like that. Remind yourself that you won't be getting hardly any rest in a few more weeks! Good luck; I feel for you!

I read, watched movies, did crossword puzzles, played video games, colored, made beaded and hemp bracelets for my husband, children, mother, and everyone else who would take them, I drew, started a baby book, sewed things that needed mended, etc. I was on bedrest for 6 months with my youngest and 4 months with my oldest. If I can make it through, you can...lol

maybe take up knitting to still feel like you are doing something to prepare for the baby since you can't do much else?
