Is the move a permanent thing? I hate to sound insensitive - but if it is a permanent move and there is no hope of her coming with you then i think the right think to is to split up until you can be together properly - cos its gonna be quite an emotional strain for you both being so far apart and feeling obligated to stay faithful to each other when you are both feeling so lonely. Alternatively - if the move is not permanent and you both feel that visits too and fro are gonna be sufficient until you return then i'd say make sure one of you has a really good phone deal that allows international calls at a cheap rate and just stay in touch as much as you can. Good luck - I know its not easy.

I don't know how you could leave your girlfriend & go to America.
How can you call her your gf when you have arranged that, knowing her.
When you go she will soon find a replacement who will love, chersih & look after her.
You have a great time in the US & dont worry your Ex will be OK

My brother did the exact same thing and now over 10 years later he still says that he regrets what he did! He would still have his ex girlfriend back tommorow if he could....(he never got married) Although its probally different for everyone, he was 5yrs with his g/f, Think very hard b4 you decide! Good luck!

ouch, not much to say here man. Sorry.
If you really are having second thoughts, maybe you should be with her. Trust your instincts.
Seeing other people is not a bad idea either, long-distance relationships are usually bad relationships.
