I think QB's are always the first thing you take when starting a franchise. And so, I would choose Donovan McNabb. Not because I think he's better than Peyton or Brady, but because of what he brings to the table. I thik Vince can be in the same league, but not sure yet. The reason I take McNabb is because he's a good passer, and a good runner. Plus, you are starting your franchise, without knowing anything about who else will be on your team. Whether you will have a decent o-line, or a decent RB or whoever. So with that in mind, you may need a QB that can shoulder the load and run with the ball. Or, if u have a good line, u just may need a good thrower. Plus, he has a good attitude, and can be the face of your franchise.

hines ward.
he has a good work ethic and is a good mentor. unfortunately, troy edwards and plaxico burress were too egotistical to realize that ward was a good reciever even though he was taken in the 3rd round. santonio holmes, however, has benifited from ward's tutorship. they now work out together and holmes has begun to see more time on the field.
he's also dependable. in his 9 seasons, he's missed only 3 games in the regular season, two of which were this year while he tried to rehab a hyperextended knee.
he's not the biggest or fastest reciever, but he works hard to achieve his goals. he's an all-around good player. he has good hands, is quick, smart, can throw when necessary, and is arguably the best blocking reciever in the league.
he loves the game. ward always has a smile on his face even when he takes a big hit. he'll likely play for another 5-6 years because he enjoys what he does.
he is good. he was sb xl's mvp, he's a 3 time team mvp and has made the pro bowl 4 consecutive times. he is the steelers' all-time leading reciever ahead of greats like lynn swann and john stallworth.
he's played this well without an acl in his right knee

I would definately take ladanian tomlinson, because he can help out any QB and could probably average 4 yards a carry with a bad offensive line. If I could make Peyton Manning 7 or 8 years younger then I would take him, but we can't control age.

You need a quarterback because he's the leader of the team and the man that touches the ball the most. In that case, there's (in my mind) only one person I'd choose: Peyton Manning.

I would have to go with a QB, maybe Brady, Palmer, and P. Manning, not Eli. You cant really do much without a good QB to lead your team. If not 1 of them then definately Urlacher.

gamers come and pass in events. who's to say that Peterson will end his occupation in Minnesota? That seems to not in any respect take position anymore in events. i imagine if he's a real Vikings fan, than the team emblem stands out as the perfect decision.
