For Aftershock - reverberations and impact
Seismograph - is a noun so maybe you could just say instrument used in detecting and measuring the intensity and direction and duration of of movements of the ground. Good luck.

Closest thing I can think of for seismograph would be Richter Scale but reverberation would work for aftershock.

Why not check it out for yourself on Yahoo's tools - Look for the dictionary, Roget's Thesaurus and an encyclopedia. If you find out for yourself, you'll commit it to memory for good. If Roget's doesn't have an answer for you, I don't know what will.
