What's wrong with the world today, you never seem to see people in meaningful relationships like, for example, my grandparents, who have been together since they were 16, have never been apart and still love each other to this day. Nobody seems to care, all they are interested in is sex.

People are reacting to the pressures they are under. Back when marriages lasted your job was in general was quite secure and the economy supported a family. Today the opposite is true. The world that insulated the marriages of yesterday is dead and gone.. And years ago people stayed in the most miserable of marriages and it was just fine by the law if a man beat his wife to a pulp. People do care and they want more than sex. And then again some people don't want to be in a marriage. Not everybody is cut out for it to begin with.

Why are you assuming it is the whole world and that NOBODY cares? I care and I am not just interested in sex, as well as MANY other people. I love my fiance and I always have from the moment I've met him, from now and always. There is maybe one divorce in my entire family and I have one of the biggest families. There are plenty of people who are in meaningful relationships. The reason why it seems nobody cares is because of the media, the celebrities, etc. Remember celebrities do not signify EVERYONE. Look around you when you go out, you will see plenty of people in love and in meaningful relationships.

There are still people that are in or are waiting for a meaningful relationship.
Don't become cynical - try to spend time with all sorts of people. Not all the people are uncaring - and even if they are really interested in sex - sometimes they are interested in other things too!

The general population seems to think that because it feels good is must be good (i.e. having sex) and if they can justify doing something that means its ok. Well most people jump into bed with each other before they could tell you that person's favorite color or even their last name. People have stopped caring enough about themself's to care that the person they are "hooking up with" cares about them or not. What's wrong with the world is people have lost their morals and values.

I have been married for 23 and 1/2 years, happily and still going. So you see, some people still got it right. A lasting, happy marriage is still possible.

Women are more independent.. Not that that's a bad thing.
There are a lot less housewives. More women are in the workforce and have the financial ability to stay single or get divorced. As a result of their accepted equality, there is less stigma to divorce and sex without marriage.

What i think is wrong with the world is that they completely put God out of the pictured they tried and do think on their own and not allow God to help. They feel proud of themselves and too stuck up to change anything about it. If many people allow God to work in their life like he wanted to, this world will change in a instance

It just takes people longer to find the right one....and to realize that he or she IS the right one and stop looking!

Stuff that people used to do in their teens and 20s, like finding their lifetime partner, is now being done in the 30s and 40s. But that's okay - we're living longer, too.
