Speaking as a lefty....... my right hand is my "work horse", carrying things, holding onto things, to free my left hand for other important stuff. Don't most right handed people wear their watches on their left hands??

There is no real reason for the same. Many righ handed people wear watches on their right hand. The basic idea being to wear the watch on the hand which one would use less. Therefore, you mostly find right handed people wearing watches on their left hand and vice versa.

Right handed people wear watches on their left hand to avoid the bother/ (potential ink smearing) that a watch would cause when writing (with a pen). I imagine that left-handed people wear watches on their right arms for the same reason - reversed

the same reason right-handed folks wear theirs on the left, it gets in the way if your wear it on the hand your always using.

same reason why right handed people wear the watch on their left arm. It is so it won't get in your way whilewriting.

NOT all left handed people wear watche/s on their right hand. I am left handed and have always worn my watch on my left wrist.

I would guess the same reason most right handed people wear theirs on the left wrist. Most people wear them on their less dominate wrist in case they want to check the time while their using their dominate hand.

Cause they do more things with the left and they don't want to damage the watch...same reason right handers wear watch on the left.
