I'm not supposed to get my period until Wed (Valentines Day).
I took a first responsed early result test this evening and I must be the only one who can see a VERY faint line. I had to hold it under the lamp to see it. I think my hubby just glanced at it and didn't look as closely as I did.
I've been SO sleepy today and had a full nights rest last night.
We've been activly trying.
Have any of you had any sucess with early result tests??

Maybe hubby is color blind, 1 out of three men are, or perhaps he is skeptical and not trying to get ahead of the game, sleepier than normal? Maybe it's your mattress and your not resting well enough, does he complain about the mattress? Remember actively trying means not just when you think you are ovulating, what if the charts are wrong? I think actively means constantly, every chance you get, not just going in spurts and then waiting to see what happens, positive reinforcement I say, if a little is good, then a lot is better, check first morning and then get back with me, did I mention more is better? Love Hubby.

okee dokey I hope your pregnant, but it sounds like you strained your eyes so very hard to see the faint line that is present on the test no matter what, so here is what you do. go get the same test. open it and hold it up to the light with the used test. Do you see the same line? Well if you dont use the test with your first morning pee and then it should tell you for sure if you are pregnant or not. I actually had a test at a results clinic come up negative with my first pregnancy until I insisted that a home test i took 3 hours earlier was positive. That made everyone take a second look! Sometimes the lines are hard to see. Sometimes your pee is diluted with too much water. Try first thing in the morning, or if you wake in the middle of the night and you just can't wait!! :) Good luck!

First Response never gave me an early result, but it does work for some women. As long as it is a colored line and it showed up within the first 10 minutes, it's possible that it's a BFP. If it's a gray line, or looks more like a clear/transparant impression where the line should be, it's probably an evaporation line rather than a BFP.

Either take another test tomorrow or wait until your period is due.

Early tests are only 50% accurate, you should wait until you are late. And holding it under a light does NOT mean its positive. You should be able to see the faint line WITHOUT holding it under the light. Give it a few days and retest. GOOD LUCK

"can be used as early at 4 days before you expect your period. That's 5 days sooner than waiting until you miss your period to test. The amount of pregnancy hormone increases rapidly in early pregnancy. In clinical testing with early pregnancy samples, Clearblue Easy gave the following results. 53% of pregnant women get results 5 days sooner. 74% get results 4 days sooner. 84% get results 3 days sooner, 87% get results 2 days sooner."

With my first baby, I took a test 5 days before my missed period. It was one of those ones you get from a clinic. It took its sweet *** time to get a line but it got there. As a rule, I have ALWAYS done 2 tests. (with both my children). Tests can be old or wrong so a double negative or a double positive is better than thinking you were pregnant than finding out you arent.
Try again.

It doesn't matter if is faint. If it's positive even faint it's still positive. So wait a little more and retest. Cause your hcg levels are probably not high enough. ANd also you should use the morning urine. It's the most concentrate.

After you do that, head to get a blood test!!

And of Course, Good Luck!!

PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!!
