He's neither. In my oppinion he's just an untalented "Disney Star". There's better singers and better looking people out there. The only reason why he is in Hairspray is because his popularity in the retarded High School Musical. He's like 18-20 (not sure, don't care) and he's playing a freshman in high school?

Well I do...I love him..he's the hottest....but he doesnt look really good now that he's coloured his hair black...i loved him in HSM and Derby Stallion..he looked awesome there...he's the cutest singer and he's pretty good at it too...so three cheers for him !
