Yes, Ahmadinejad wants a peaceful co-existance with it's neighbors and the U.S. I think too many people focus on the fact it is an Islamic country and believe that is a good enough reason to bomb the country.

Absolutely not. He is extraordinarily two-faced. He will come to the UN or speak to Diane Sawyer of hope and peace, but he will immediately turn around and in a speech to many Iranians curse the United States as the great satan and speak of obliterating Israel, all the while mocking the UN. Don't forget that he insists the holocaust never happened! Where did those six million people go? Alien abduction? You can't just make six million people magically disappear! At the following links you will find some of the insane things that have passed the lips of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that for some reason never make it to our media. We only see him speaking of hope and peace with Diane Sawyer today on Good Morning America.
So with so much double talk, I find that I can't possibly believe that he truly wants peace...with the proof I see before my eyes when I dig a little deeper for the truth in his words.

If Ahmadinejad wanted to be friends with anyone he would do us all a favor and cut his own head off. Talk to anyone who has served in this war and they will tell you the difference between Iran and Iraq. Iraq is the body of the snake and Iran is the head. You should get on the net and look up Sayyid Ali Khamenei he is mahmoud ahmadinejads "boss" basically the Dictator in Iran since 1989. Ahmadinejad has videos all over the net calling for his people to kill ...watch these videos..he is not insane just evil. I hope with all the real evidence (that coming from his own mouth and actions) you can answer you own question.

The Iranian President has made perfectly clear his intentions. He has repeated time and time again that he intends to "wipe Israel from the map." He has made repeated threats against the United States and it's allies. He is also relentlessly pursuing the production of nuclear weapons. This man hardly represents one who intends to co-exist with his neighbors.
He has also made allegiances with Hugo Chavez. I would not be suprised if he allowed Iranian terrorists groups to stage in his country, and then move up into the US through Mexico, and infiltrate our porous borders. I think it would be a practical way into the country, and they could make preparations to stage attacks within the US.
This man is a monster. And the sooner the world wakes up and see this Islamic terrorist for what he is, the better off we will be.

He is a religious extremist, and radicals in office have caused trouble since the beginning of time. This guy is about as radical as they get.
I really, REALLY wish the U.S. would just stay quiet on this topic, though. Ahmandinejad has stated over and over that he views Israel as the biggest problem/greatest threat. Israel has the hardcore firepower that it takes to subdue any Iranian threat.
If the US would just sat back and watch, we would be seeing Israel handle their own dirty work for once. Ahmadinejad would be gone long before he ever set his sights on the U.S.
However, if Israel failed for whatever reason, (blame the UN if they do,) then the U.S. would be knee-high in doo-doo. Hopefully we would be able to step in with tactical strikes, such as missiles or airstrikes, before the situation ever became too serious, but I don't want to see too many more troops have to commit to ground fighting.

Ahmadinejad and Bush are 2 sides of the same coin.
Both are desperate and ruthless rulers who would resort from one extreme to another to stay in power. In fact, their acts are complimentary and one without the other can not perform.
Any violence or war anywhere on earth harms all of us.
Active pursuit of peace should be everyone's agenda.
I believe peaceful co-existence between all nations, including US is an honourable objective.

absolutely. i know he said stuff like "wipe Israel off the map" and stated that the holocaust was a farce, but we should just disregard all that and believe every word he is saying to Diane Sawyer-not. The guy was lying the whole time, i watched it. Maybe he truly believes the US should be out of Iraq, I can understand that, but why is his boys in there? Sorry, he holds a double standard.

No he doesn't. Keep in mind that Iran seems to be helping Iraq with more sophisticated weapons in the war. He may not have the capability to win a confrontation with the US and UN, but he seems bent on pushing the US to prove his bluff.

no. i believe him when he agreed with the supreme leader(whose name i cannot spell), and said that Israel should be wiped off the map.
i know someone is going to tell me he didn't say that. well, the supreme leader did, and he agreed with the supreme leader. that's enough for me. i tend to take the both of them at their word. those guys don't make idle threats. you'd think 9/11 would have taught us that. it took them how long to bring down the WTC?
