As a society we need to learn to be patient and accepting of our differences. Look beyond what bothers us and see that we are all people and that we are all just trying to survive. As individuals, qiut being so obsessed with the acceptance of others and how you are going to fit in and be liked. You have to look in the mirror and say "hey, you are great and I like you!!!" If you do not feel that way, then change whatever it is that you do not like when you look in the mirror(whether it be inside or out)! It is in your hands!

Society is a collected group of individuals. As indiviudals, we must learn to accept ourselves completely. As a society, I think we must all think alike to be a "society." I don't think we'll ever acheive this because everyone is an individual, and thinks differently...therefore, we (as a society) will never be able to accept ourselves (as a collected group) completely. In short, I think we need to work on ourselves before we attempt being a "completely accepted" society. Damn good question!

As a society - I do not know. When I read the papers I become very dis-heartened because its all anxiety and hate - group against group, with quick, simple and destructive answers.

As an individual - I found myself and accepted all of me - through counselling, psychology and philosophy. So good and powerful that I did degrees in each.

You can avoid watching television, movies, and commercials. Also, don't read most books and magazines. While you're at it, don't surf the Web either.

Or you can just accept yourself no matter what you see in the media.

When we stop thinking about ourselves and start thinking about what we can do for others.

We are too selfish, and "its never enough" which is why we don't accept ourselves truly.
