people that do chase tornadoes probably do it to show where it is approching, like homes, or towns so people can evactuate, and where TO evactuate. And yes, they know -i hope- what the potential dangers are for chasing tornadoes.

**Tornadoes and supercell thunderstorms are simply the Greatest Show on Earth. There is nothing else that compares.
**Most stormchasers dutifully report what they are seeing to local meteorologists and emergency management agencies. This saves lives.
**A few stormchasers make a few dollars here and there selling videos, operating tour companies, providing live coverage for local media, etc.
