my personal oppinion is defintely Kelly,her range blows my mind.Even Reba McEntire loves to hear Kelly sing.Carrie is ok too but Kelly is in a different league.

I would say kelly clarkson because she can sing many types of songs, while carrie underwood can only sing mostly country

Kelly Clarkson definitely. I think Carrie Underwood is too saccharine-y. Kelly has a range and versatility that is great. She does the ballads, the pop songs and the rockers equally good.

I think Kelly Clarkson has a better voice range than Carrie Underwood does. But I enjoy listening to Carrie's smoother voice than Kelly's choppier singing style. I love them equally.

Carrie Underwood. Kelly has a tendency to shout at times...Carrie in my oppinion take take care of her vocal cords better then Kelly. But both are GREAT!
I personally don't like how this is just a popularity contest, because Kelly has been in the business longer and made more CDS.
