Does anyone know anything else that can cause excessive gas, all of a sudden?

If you've been a lady when u burp and pass, and then all of a sudden your belching like a man. What could possibly be wrong?

Could be your change in diet? Are you pregnant? I know that Ive been gassier and burp sometimes. I never did before i was pregnant. The baby smooshes your organs around and causes all sorts of unpleasantness.
