you should see now that there is not any ethics in this administration it is the government of the rich for the rich and when have you ever seen ethics in a rich person? I would say that no it is not safe to speak your mind in America today this administration does not listen to the will of the people and it is reminiscent of the Adolph Hitler rise to power in Germany you saw that they quickly learned not to speak their minds.

you can always "speak your mind as long as it doesn't threaten
the pres or any elected officials, no matter what "regime".
if this Josh Wolf has any info that threatens the security
of the U.S. or it's interests it should be disclosed, it by being a court order that he should reveal it's source, or did he make it up? we all want the truth, and we want a bases for the truth.
not just some words that are spoken without a bit of evidence.
as far as the hitler era, there is no comparison at all.
if it were not for the U.S. and it's allies you would be living in a world with no Arabs, Black people, Asians, Spanish, Russians,
or any other that did not meet their criteria of being the perfect race,
blond hair and blue eyes. gonna leave it at that, you have a lot of thinking to do. there is no comparison at all.

Ted Kennedy might want you to think W. leads a regime ..just so you'll distract from the death of Mary Jo Kopechne at his own hand..Republicans never tried to stifle the flow of information to the American people . Are you referring to the F.B.I. who was not allowed to look stormtrooper Hillary Clinton in the eye in the White House ? OR the Clinton Regime who TOLD the Secret Service to back off when Hillary & Bill allowed foreigners into the White House without security clearance ..as a matter of habit ?
Could you perhaps be confusing "safe to speak" with Hillary Clinton's plan to stop info on the Internet as we know it because "WE HAVE TOO MUCH FREE SPEECH "?

Our current president would happily undermine every constitutional protection we have! The man is at best just a power hungry person and at worst a tyrant. The "Patriot act" was ready and waiting for the opportunity of 9/11. Bush knew well in advance that some terrorist activity on a major scale was pending and intentionally did nothing to prevent it. That was his chance to use fear tactics to push the "Patriot act" into law. This act bypasses almost every legal protection you and I have against illegal search.
This post will be filtered through NSA servers and will most likely be examined to determine if I warrant further investigation.
Bush has committed several impeachable offenses but the congress, senate and the U.S. public are too friggin scared to actually do anything. I am not! I would support any legal means of ousting Mr. Bush from office!

lower than cherished legacy? would not you compromise then that each and every different President has finished the exact same element? Isn;t that style of a given once you're taking this pastime? And trust me thats no longer his legacy, both ill conceived wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the stripping of people privateness, and disrupting the assessments and balances of the three branches of authorities are his legacy. Oh yeah, and the finished crumbling of the worlds maximum efficient economy, as behemoth corporations fold left and precise and thousands upon thousands of people lose their jobs. that is his legacy. making efficient we don;'t get attacked is aprt of the pastime, no longer the legacy. placing the country on a course to smash is his legacy. Letting New Orleans drown is his legacy. permitting Iran to grow to be nuclear enabled is his legacy. when you're in trouble-free words tense abotu getting attcked, then enable me allow you to recognize, he has created more beneficial terrorists in the international than beofre he become President, and we will be attacked lower back because of him. that is his legacy/ Open a newspaper please. also, ignoring the HEADLINES in his intelligence briefs that 9/11 become going to take position in the first position.. that too is his legacy.

1) Yes it is safe to speak your mind. Are you in jail?
2) He was jailed by a judge for refusing to answer questions.
3) The administration does not control the judiciary.
4) The right to free speech has nothing to do with our obligations as citizens to give honest answers to questions in criminal proceedings.
5) Comparing our govt to the Nazis is just plain evil.

you and i know we have free speach ,
we are free to speak we just need to be carfull of that which we speak
fromww2 to today govt has monitered ever open communication ,for which i feel free to say i favour
it is true that words are words but they are free to be said ,words must not incite people to violence ,that is when words go to far
but truths /fears /hopes must be able to be spoken
here at yahoo i have been able to speak relitivlly openly ,at many other lessor sites my free speach was shut down ,why invision deleted my posts ,or why morgana forum co banned my right to speak i will never know but yahoo is a menche ,and yes i know we are being monitored but thats better than being cencored
i feel it is safe to speak ,wether it has a cost in time well time will reveal ,but they shut us fools down at thier own risk ,its not the words that cause terror its feeling you cant speak out ,cant complain ,cant communicate your pain,
i feel of late 3 mths or so free speach has been opened up
the web was parinoid to begin but now i just speak here and they dont have to worry about looking where i am now as i used to have to do ,sure i still have to watch what i say but is that a bad thing or a good thing its the being able to say it if only to those paid to listen.

Please go back to school and learn history this time!
The main reason that this so called journalist is in jail is that the souces he quoted and does not want to tell who it is is because it was involveing a crime. Sorry but you really should stay with your bubble gum instead of trying to ask questions.

The Republicans kidnap, torture and kill innocent people everyday all day long. We need to stop the false prophets in America and the Middle East from dictating how people should live. I am ready to fight to the death for what my ForeFathers fought for wether the GOP wants to or not.
