how do I transpher mp3 songs from harddrive to an external hard drive?

Just plug the external hard drive into the computer with the files. I assume you have the proper interface... USB, etc. The files should copy over just like any other data files would. I am assuming that you have no special items or software involved.

The procedure is the same as transferring files from one partition to another. Click on the drive letter corresponding with the external hard drive and drag the file there.
