People in general only know the Anna Nicole Smith public image that she herself created and promoted. It was to many obnoxious and obscene behavior and she used it to make herself known.
Her private life only a few knew and it probably changed as her fame grew and her wealth...and her use of drugs, etc.
There was not much good could be said about her life that most people saw, and that is what they are commenting on...what is reported by those who knew her...all the affairs, etc.
She was a very sad lady, and had a sad life.

Some people are just mean spirited & that's what they do. Other's I believe, are jealous because they wish they had the guts that she did. How many people out there wish they had the nerve to do something really unconventional or perhaps even outlandish but were afraid to because of what people would say? Well she wasn't. She did what she wanted to & didn't care what people thought or said. And she didn't hurt anyone in the process. I give her a lot of credit for being her own person. May she now rest in peace.

lets just say, she was the type who always kept her life in the publics eye...we "feel" we know her because her life was made so public. She was a small town girl, who made her self look the way she did, by buying huge breasts, using lots of makeup, and seducing men of wealth... She became rich and let a close family member go without life saving treatment for a deadly disease, because this "relative" was from the wrong side of the tracks. (the ones that she grew up on), She turned her back on family and friends, because they were poor trailer trash in her eyes, no longer good enough for her. The saying goes: " Pretty is as Pretty does!", and God dont like ugly....

Anna Nicole Smith brought millions of people into her life "willingly".She has disrespected herself on countless occasions just to make a buck.Her life is not just some insult someone throws,most of it is the God's honest truth.Most of it is caught on tape.I hate that the only legacy she has left for her daughter is her drunken tirades on her show.I know that she loved her child but she left her a dispariging legacy.God rest her soul.

I think its sad that people would be so rude. She made something of herself and a lot of people were jealous of that fact. It takes hardwork and motivation to make something of yourself and she had that. As for the comment "God doesn't like ugly" he doesn't like for people to be cruel to one another either. God wants people to practice love and acceptance. If you feel someone is leading a bad path in life you should try persuading them down another course not trash them. R.I.P. Anna Nicloe Smith

Her life when she was still alive was not so 'innocent' but since she is already dead, shouldn't these people at least just shut up if they have nothing good to say. Moreover, is there any saint out there who doesn't err in life? Have more respect for the dead.

That is a really god question. I really think that she seems like a nice person. She does not deserve to be bashed by people at all even if they do know her. And for the people who dont know her they really dont need to say anything its not like shes done anything or said anything about them.

why do people say mean things about anyone? my grandmother always said "it never botherd me when people talked behind my back because if they were talking about me they wasnt talking bad about anyone else" and i have developed the same attitude people that are so insecure they have to talk about me atleast i know that im a strong enough person that it wont effect my wellbeing and they are not talking about someone else who may not be so secure

when someone does not have education or knowledge of something they are ignorant. GOes for anything. I was not surprised with what happened a little on the happeir side. She was giving a bad name to girls we are not objects and she was so self absorbed in herself sin kills
