i honestly think bush is going to attack everyone he can. He should be keeping an eye on his own country, after all, the USA is the one who votes for the president, not Iran, or Iraq. He'll keep attacking everyone while ignoring America, which will ultimately make us weaker which will ultimately lead to our demise.

No he will not attack Iran. He is already in so much trouble with the world because of his policies on Iraq. He over stepped his mark by going to war with them, he knows he can`t win the war, and he has lost face. If he attacked Iran, it is quite likely that ,Irans` allies plus many other countries would retaliate jointly against America. There would be a blood-bath on American soil, from which she will find it difficult to recover. However, with any luck, he will not get the chance to carry out his empty threats, as it is most un-likely that the American electorate will retain him as their president.

If Iran goes ahead with asking for payment for oil and natural gas in Euros rather than American petrodollars the chances of the US or its proxy Israel attacking Iran are increased. Saddam also wanted to change the method of payment for Iraqi oil to Euros and Bush found an excuse to invade Iraq.

Yes he will. The U.S government has presented so called evidence accusing Iran of supplying bombs to Shiite militias. This so called evidence is propaganda. It's just the first step into justifying a war. We'll see it heat up in the coming weeks.

Worst case scenario: a draft starts.

It's not in the interest of the U.S to fight with Iran, the U.S cannot win a guerrilla war with Iran, it's just impossible, forget it.

i doubt it as much as he may want too. Given the major problems in Iraq i doubt he has the political will to move openly against what amounts to a regional superpower. That is not to say he would use limited missile or air strikes etc or even Israeli forces if he thought it served his purpose but an Iraq style invasion i doubt it

No, even he is beginning to see that he shouldn't have invaded Iraq, the USA are now desperately trying to extricate themselves from this situation and bush is slowly waking up to the fact that he is in a pile of sh*t.

Bush will do anything and everything he can before his term is up. His time is limited to a year in office but you can be sure in his own words,"We will get all the evil doers and their accomplices."

Yes - it strongly looks that way, son, time to deal with it, Iran that is. Or lack of reaction will encourage these threats to forge forward into our own soil.
