The Babe Ruth trade was huge! But here in Minnesota there have been a couple of huge ones. First the Vikings get Hershell Walker from Dallas for like 7 players and 3 or 4 future picks which turned out to be the nucleus of there championship teams. And second and most recently was a trade between the San Francisco Giants and Twins Twins gave up A.J perzinski and in return got Joe Nathan, Boof Bonser and Francisco Liriano

The Minnesota Vikings giving up about 10 draft picks to obtain Herschel Walker from the Cowboys. Many of those players had a huge impact on Dallas winnning 3 Superbowls in the early 90's.

When my Atlanta Hawks were number one in the East a long time ago.. They finnally had a great year and team. Right before the playoffs they traded Dominique Wilkins for Danny Manning and his bad knees. I was soooo mad. You don't trade your best player that got you to number one in the division a week before the playoffs.
