Actually, not just the soil, but there may be some merit to hot springs. I believe in Japan, there are special hot springs pools where people go for the benefits of the special minerals in natural hot springs. These minerals are absorbed through skin pours while bathing in the nutrient rich hot water mixed with minerals from magma below the Earth's crust. Perhaps certain mud pools may have this effect too. However, since this is all classified under natural remedies, do some research first to see if there is some credibility and evidence to support what I am saying. Unlike normal sciences, natural remedies and healing effects of soil are more difficult to prove but there are many people who go to hot springs who claim that there is some benefit to this.
