Get an SAT prep book, the one by Princeton Review is good. Build up your vocabulary and math skills, i think it goes up to algebra 2. Take an SAT prep course if you want to. Most importantly, just relax. It won't really "count" from 8th grade unless you want it to. It will help to know what you have to work on later in high school.

confident, that's quite sturdy. I basically took the SAT's and that i'm in 8th grade and my score without the essay is a 1460. and that i'm in an sped up college and that i'm taking Geometry now and took Algebra final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and my score sucks (Math: 470). So, i don't comprehend what you're doing to get this score, yet despite you're doing, save on doing it!

Buy some books with practice SATS in them. It's good to take several practice tests so you get used to what the questions are like. The books usually have some tips in them, also. I also had a computer program by The Princeton Review when I was studying for it, and their tips were also helpful.

I would tell you that taking the SAT that early really doesn't make much sense and would suggest you simply take the practice tests you can get through the Princeton Review and their series of books http://www.princetonreview.com/home.asp
Good Luck!!!

i heard taking classes like at Sylvan or Testmasters help. They range from like 8-10 weeks i believe. some people say it doesn't help but that's because they slack off. so if you're pretty good when it comes to studying, you should be fine. but if you don't want to take classes, you could always do the old-fashion way, with SAT books. whichever way you choose, i wish you luck and hope you do well.

Holy Cow! what a rigorous goal! i have no advice because i only took the ACT and PSAT. I would try to get a hold of the PSAT and see your results and for practicing before the SAT. I have no other advice. good luck in your future!

in my opinion? just geta quick practice test they give out for free in the guidance office or in the library. its good you want to guage where you're at, but for a sixth grader, i wouldn't reccomend you to be doing SAT prep. youll do plenty in high school

sign up for a dictionary sight's word of the day. i think yahoo has it too. it should prepare you and make you more familiar when it comes to the killer verbal section. i also was able to take it, i believe it was in 7th grade for me.
