I'm an American, and I love living in the United States, and am proud to be an American. I am so terribly sad about what Bush has done to our wonderful country. It also saddens me to see people from other countries say horrible things about us. I've been all over the world, and trust me, people are pretty much the same everywhere you go. You're only as classy, sophisticated, polite, and intelligent as you behave, and I haven't seen people from other countries have this to any higher degree than any American. There are some good people, and some bad people everywhere you go. I think we need to all stop hurling insults at each other. It benefits nobody.

The blogbaba is content to remain in the good old U.S. of A. I'm not to pleased with the Republican dominated political leadership, I mean the brink of WWIII can't be something to brag about, but I have a feeling Iran is sweating a little more than the average American. I'm not a Bush supporter, in fact I think I will vote straight Democrat for the forseeable future. But as much as I rip on W & his pet vampire Cheney, they are running the show. If push came to shove, even the Blogbaba would back them before he would passively listen to non-Americans pound the little chimp looking cowboy from Texas. It's OK for Americans to dog their Presidnent & elected leadership. It sticks in our craw when non-Americans try to do it.
Basic primate reaction to fear and stress is smiling laughter in the form of a grinning facial expression. If the rest of the world is laughing at Bush, they had better not do it to his face, cause W. is just as likely to invade you as look at you. Putin is talking some smack, but the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. have always known that one day we would throw down. I think the U.S. could realistically win a war against the whole of Europe. The thought of taking on the combined forces of China & India in a ground war while we were spanking the Europeans might prove challenging, but Europe alone wouldn's last a week. They would fall faster than Saddam.
It's great to be an American, it's like being the older brother to the rest of the world. If they get out of line, you line them back up. You non-Americans must not like being treated like 2nd and 3rd class citizens on the same planet, I mean why should us Americans get all the resources and food while you guys get the leftovers. It just doesn't seem fair some how, but right now the U.S. is still the only superpower out there.
Talk is cheap, love him or hate him George W. Bush has an army on the boarder of Iran. Who's terrorising whom, it's no laughing matter it's about as serious as it gets. This is the attitude most American's have for the rest of the world. In a word it's "contempt". We kill more of each other that terrorists would ever kill, and it almost never reaches outside the local papers. What, short of a full scale nuclear attack can the rest of the world do to the U.S.? Laugh I guess.

Personally, I think folks from outside the U.S. who say they HATE the U.S. are just jealous of our freedoms and the opportunities we have. If America is such a terrible place, why have people died (and are still dying) trying to get here. If we were so terrible, why do we have such an illegal alien problem? Why aren't AMERICANS running away from this country to places like France, Great Britain, Kenya, etc.
My grandparents/parents/aunts & uncles came to this country from Finland. They dug in and did their best to become part of this country. They all died as Americans (I had twin uncles who went to Korea, one was KIA one was MIA). I'm proud to be an American. I've been to 32 countries (some more than once) and seeing what I've seen, I appreciate our great land so much more. I wouldn't want to live any other place. I've been stationed in 3 countries. If I HAD to live someplace else, it would be Sardinia where I spent 3 1/2 years and have gone back to on vacation. But I intend to spend the rest of my life in the greatest country on earth...THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
GOD BLESS THE U.S.A!

My view of America is...thank god you have Jack Bauer because you have a lot of enemies!!! haha just kidding...
I don't think that Bush has changed my opinion on American people. But I strongly disagree with this guy above me who thinks it is the greatest nation on Earth.
I think that you guys having Bush as you president is about as embarrassing as having our Prime Minister, John Howard, kissing his ****.
(I am from Australia by the way)

I'm very proud to be an American and not a citizen of a terrorist country that is evil and destroys everything in their path. We have a prosperous Country, what do they have???? Killing, poverty, you name it.
Anyway, I would rather ANY President of the United States to take the fight where the root of the problem is, which is NOT America.

God Bless the USA and He surely has by giving us a GREAT President!!!!!!
The USA continues to be the greatest nation on earth!!!!
President Bush rescued 2 nations from brutal governments with dictators who tortured and killed their own people. He did that in defense of our country, after attacks that killed about 3000 people, working innocent people, in one day.
What should he have done, lay down and let terror take over our great nation??????????????
What would you have done??????
Ask the people of Iraq and Afganistan how they feel about the courage of a nation to rescue them from their own leaders!
Bush is great, and the USA has been and always will be great!
Ask the Germans, the Japanesse and countless other countries, all that have been rescued by America!
I don't know where you live, but I live in FREEDOM in the USA!!!

Born and raised an American. I'm mega happy I'm an American. My neighbors are from different countries (Russia ,India, etc). They 're thrilled to be here. I even ask them if they want to go back someday and they say to me,"Why?"
