Loreena McKennitt...I just like her style better and I love "Mummer's Dance"!! That was the song that played when I realized I was falling hard for my boyfriend...

Mummer's Dance is great but Loreena songs usually tell a story (which I don't like) or sound too much like Irish music which is definitely not my thing. She is new agey yet manages to sound folky.
Enya's songs aren't intrusive they just float in and out of your subconscious while you're going about your activities.

I like Loreena McKennitt, because some of her songs have been in movies that I like. Plus, she also did a really neat version of "Annachie Gordon", and I really love that song.

Being black, i was expected to listen to rap or hip hop.I enjoy them both , but love Loreena's Mummer's dance.

Love them both, but Enya is better. I just like her voice better.
