Can I return an item that was on clearence? My mother said no, but I don't know.

Because I live an hour from the closest Walmart. I don't want to waste time or gas just to get there and be told they don't accept clearance returns.

you probably can - you should check your receipt - it should have return policy on it - if not then there is return policy on teir web site

There should be a number that you can call on your receipt. I would call them and ask them if you can.
