Why not both? Shows intellect AND athleticism. If you are talking about a scholarship, go with soccer. I don't think they give those out for chess.

chess. because you dont have to be prepared physically. Chess, just get books and study. but chess can really absorb your brain if you think too much. Are you skinny, then go for soccer if not chess. I like soccer too. But I would go for chess because it's one on one and its fun.

SOCCER!! all the way!! soccer is the best sport ever and it is veyr althletic. no offense but chess isnt really a sport, and its lame and boring. i would pick soccer anyday, it has so much action!
