Sorry for the last post I ment Northbridge not FSB...

Anyways my question was what is the normal operating tempature of the front bridge? I was cleaning the heatsink and i think i bumped into it and it may have broken the heatpaste seal, but I really have no way to tell. Its running in bios at 30c no load. Is this normal? Should i repaste? I wasnt sure if it would rebond under heat if it did break..

Thanks
Jimmy

30° C sounds okay for idle but it would have been better if you specified motherboard make and model as this would have given a better indication of what temperature you should worry about. Anything above 60° C and I would start to worry about the the cooling.
