A 2 year old will definitely notice. her fantasies about what happened my be more horrific than knowing her parent made a mistake. Can't you put the arm back on? My granddaughter just decapitated her group of Barbie Princesses. She's 4 and when I asked her what happened she told me the head liked different dresses better! How can you argue with that!

It's missing its arms...of course she'll notice. Try and pop them back in. That's what I did when I was little. If that doesn't work you're faced with two options....own up to it and get her a new one as a "I'm sorry" or replace the one she had and hope she'll never know. Either way, you'll end up having to buy a new barbie....

If as you said "hypothetically" sat on the doll, you didn't actually sit on the doll, so no harm done,so forget about it.

nah tell her that barbie and gi joe went on a covert ops mission to iraq to free hostages
then tell her about how bad war is and all the pain it causes
soon she'll dismiss the arm as a casulty or war and move on to HOTWHEELS

You should just tell her the truth , but anyways she probobly wont even notice but its good to be truthful to her so if she has a problem she can face you and tell you rather than hide it or stall it.

Try gluing it back first! If that doesn't work, put a little cast on it & tell her Barbie had an accident....

I would hide evidence at the bottom of the toy box and let her find it on her own.

Yes you should, so she will learn about owning up to her mistakes and then buy her a new one. Also apologize.
