One of my friends says she'll never be able to look at a screw driver the same after watching "Secret Window". Another says he gets nervous when walking in front of cars because of a Stephen King story. I have a (slight) thing about porceilin (sp?) dolls because of a story I read online.
Have you ever been "traumatized" by a movie or book, and if so how?

When me and my sister were kids, she got traumatized by a movie called "Picture Mommy Dead" about a murdered mom that was hidden behind picture on the wall .In our living room was a giant self portrait that our mother did of herself in art school. After that movie she was PETRIFIED of that picture of our mom .Ironically my sister is grown living in L.A. and now has that same portrait in her living room.

i grow to be a touch traumatized when I accidently lacerated my thigh with a sparkling, oily container cutter. extra information: on the time it got here about, I went into wonder and blacked out. Ten years later I actually have a troublesome time watching people use blades. exceptionally when I see people forcing a knife or a pair of scissors in route of their body or hand. I regularly insist that I do the reducing.

1974. The Exorcist. I was 14. I sat in the front row with my best friend. I was a devout catholic girl in catholic school, the whole 9 yards. I thought I was posessed. Even today, I'm still terrified of demons, even though I don't follow the Church anymore.

yes by Cabin Fever, i like hunter strong so i watched itt cause he is hot but then it was about flesh eating bacteria which is very real i had bought the movie and i had to give it away cause it really bugged me so much but that is the only one that has ever bugged me
