Do I have to cut/trim my turtles' nails?
How long can they grow and can it harm the other turtle in the tank?
Thanks :)

Turtles with long nails are males, and they use the nails for courtship- not attacks. You should just leave them alone.

If your turtles ARE attacking each other, you should try a bigger tank! That is a classic sign of over-crowding.

the turtles have long nails, males very long. just keep an eye on them. It's normal, but if it hurts others you may need to seperate them. good luck

Never! This is how tutles cut up thier food and manipulate it in their mouths. They should not hurt each other with thier nails, but if you see problems then you may need more than 1 tank.
