My turtle sees her reflection in the glass of her tank. Then she digs the gravel and claws on the glass. Is there somything wrong with her I would hate to lose my Shellby!

Glass tanks are very stressful for turtles- they cannot figure out why they cannot get out and it really bothers them.

Try either using a plastic tub, or covering the glass with something. (Try taping some newspaper over the glass and see if it helps. In most cases, the turtle will start acting MUCH more relaxed!)

Try putting some plants in there fake or real it might help, it worked with my box turtles.

there is nothing wrong with her she sees herself and thinks it is another turtle this is normal in the mean time find her a friend i think it is if the shell in the back is curved up it is a female if it is curved down it is a male
