my girlfriend is about 400 miles away from me this valentines day and i wanted to send her something special that shows her how much i love her. she's not into material things much, so i need cutesy corny things - any ideas?
so far, here's what i got
i got our favorite picture of us printed out and framed
i wrote her a very special/long note
i made her a cd of all of our songs

Sounds Nice, I dont know if you could afford it, perhaps pay for her to have a spa visit with massage for the day. other than that everything you mentioned sounds good
perhaps giving her a phone call so she can hear your voice on valentine's day as well. have some flowers with a balloon delievered to her home or workplace where she may be. wrtie a a letter of why you love her and how much even when apart, and how special she is to you, so she is reminded daily even while you are away she is loved and cherished.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
If you'd rather not use the computer so much, try graph paper to sketch out the puzzle and use real pictures or pictures from magazines.

but the rest of the things are awesome!
i got my boyfriend 3 of my pics.. one when i was little .. the other his favorite pic. and one he has never seen of me.
then.. im baking him some cookies.. im making some candys at my cooking class.. and im making him some rice krispies dipped in chocolate.
and a bear with a baseball bat.
and a card.

do you have alot of pictures of you 2 if so go to www.slide.com and make a slide show and send it to her she'll love it

So, like how are you going to get it to her by Valentine's Day?!?!?
How about adding her favorite candy too?!?! Not necessarily VD candy, but her favorite gum, candy bars, etc..... shows your thoughtfulness and she'll be tickled that you remember them...
