As per the news you can now take the NCLEX in the Philippines for $350. I wonder where and when exactly. It's good news though.

The latest good news is you can now take NCLEX in the Philippines starting this year. All registered nurses from the Philippines need not go anymore to Hongkong, Taipieh, Guam or Saipan to take the same exam.

If you are a nurse here in the Philippines, you still have to take CGFNS and NCLEX to work abroad particularly in the USA. The CGFNS is available already here in the Philippines, the NCLEX exam is not yet. Fililpinos still have to go to Hongkong to take the exam and that would cost them plane fare of around $300 or more depending on the season. That is already a big amount here in the Philippines.

really a good news... specially to the newly passed 19k new nurses from the dec boards.

less jitters --- less cash-out

too bad for some, it could have been a valid reason to get to travel abroad

According to the paper, not quite right. It's supposed to open later this year. I figure it will be somewhere around Manila.
