They are my favorite type of people (unless they are the arrogant type) and I really have a soft spot for them. However, I'm feeling that a lot of people hate the Asian, gamer, anime, nerd type person. Why is that?

I have never heard of anyone hating nerds of Asian descent (aren't they American?); could it be a west coast thing?
Maybe they are disliked for the same reasons all other nerds are disliked, but I think "hate" is too strong a term to use.

I like all nerds, as for asians....I've gotten off on the wrong foot with EVERY asian I've met so in general not fond of asians...sorry man...
