I try not to let them linger that much cause sometimes I forget them...so as soon as I choose a best answer.

Too many let them go to voting. You don't know if they've even bothered to read the answers. I think that's ignorant, if someone takes the time and effort to answer your question you could at least have the courtesy to select a best one, give a thumbs up to all who answered, and leave a comment. Yahoo should post Q&A etiquette on their home page.

I leave them open for about 24 hours. After that they turn yellow and the computer reminds me that my questions need attention. So, when the computer reminds me. I vote on a best answer.

That's funny, I can't stand leaving them open...like a kitchen drawer...but I've been told I have leave them for 24 hrs... so I try really really hard.
