I like your question, and I thought as a woman I might see some interesting real answers here, to learn what men think.
I was disappointed.
For you men who repeatedly say women, nag, nag, complain, etc. you are in de Nile, and not the river.
You should be insulted when a woman nags you to do something! That's a reflection on you.
That means you obviously aren't too bright.
The second time you hear the same thing from her, you should worry and think, oops, she's going to think I'm lazy or an idiot, or don't care. [True]
THAT equates to less respect for you, resentment toward you, which leads to NO you know what in the bedroom. DUH!
Not witholding it, she is just turned offffff.
Women think with their heads, they need respect and to know you care for them to be turned on. You have to SHOW that.
The fact that you wouldn't get this is even more frustrating.
The fact that first she had to actually ask you to do something you're probably supposed to do anyway.
Then she had to ask you again.
Then she had to ask you again.
What are you, a moron?
Ok, sorry. But making a lame excuse only makes you look more pathetic.
I have a friend who's 43 and actually told me what his ex nagged him about, with a straight face.
He is a college graduate, a Blackhawk's pilot and just came back from Iraq. He has been in the Nat'l guard many years.
He is very intelligent and can speak at length on any subject.
He is meticulous about his finances, his motorcylce is spotless as is his car. He is generous to friends and the needy.
He said she got mad because he didn't pick up his towel off the floor after showering, and they kept argueing abou it.
I was confused. I said, well why would she keep bringing that up? After she reminded you the first time, and you didn't do it again, wouldn't it be over?
He didn't have an answer.
I think he assumed I thought SHE was the bad guy because she kept telling him for 5yrs to pick up his dirty towels. Poor lady to put up with that for so long.
His excuse?
He is just very focused on what comes next, and when he gets out of the shower, that's just not somethig his mind is on. Guys, we just move straight ahead, that's how we think, he said.
You can fly a helicopter but you can't remember to pick up a towel, that's IN your hand, as you drop it?
I don't think I want to fly with you Mr Forgetful.
Just a point that those little things you do men, earn major brownie points.

Deane B, your comments were hillarious.
Men's pet peeves are
- lack of sex
- nagging wives.
This 'disappointed you'. well guess what, that's what men are REALLY thinking.
Your comments were funny though because you couldn't understand why men just can't do whatever their wives tell them, thereby earning brownie points. The simple answer is, we have other stuff going on. The deeper answer is, and this comes from personal experience, if anything, doing everything your wife asks you earns you NEGATIVE brownie points where it counts. Women seem to live to try to control men, but find men then they can control sexually unappealing.
So I guess my pet peeve will be 'women aren't attracted to what they like, and don't like what they are attracted to. That makes satisfying them impossible'.

Well if I were your wife ( and praise God I'm not) I'd have a issue with you on the net airing our marital issues. Yup, that would be my pet peeve.

I hate the way she drags stuff up from the past that I've forgotten about.....stupid little things. Just to fight about. Hell....I can't remember what happened yesterday let alone what happened 5 years ago. She's like a freakin Elephant for memory. She could be making it all up for all I know. LOL
