Why do SO many people find it so hard to NOT get drunk and then go for a drive ? Are people seriously that dumb ? Is it even that hard to not get drunk in the first place, one beer isnt enough its gotta be 3 or 4, and then you gotta drive home despite the thousands of people who die from it, and that its illegal, so what kind of mentality actually says 'im drunk, so what, i can still drive fine' no matter how many people die because of it?

Besides the mentality, it's also the fact that alcohol lowers your inhibitions. So risky behavior doesn't seem quite so risky anymore. As for the one beer thing, there are those people who don't think "everything in moderation" is for them. (Which is fine, that's their life.) Also, there are those who are addicts; alcoholics.
I agree with you, I don't want drunk drivers on the road.

from my understanding (i am underage and therefore have never taken a drink), when you are drunk, your senses are severely impaired, which means you may not even know you're drunk. and if you truly BELIEVE that you are 100 percent sober, why NOT go for a drive? if a person KNOWS they're drunk and STILL thinks they can drive, then they're just freaking retarded.

undoubtedly nothing is wrong with it....in several towns they have made major issues and laws about going to bars now....NOT to smoke in them....you can go on and drink and drink for all hours and then drive out but just be sure you don't smoke inside the building......go figure that one out

I don't drink and hate drunken people! They are so selfish and you are absolutely right. They are risking other people lives and they don't even care. Terrible!
