I was BSing around with my friends last week and started calling them "my crackers." All there were white.
Personally, I think "cracker" is a hilarious term and I wouldn't be offended to be referred to in that way (funnier than "honky").

These are pejorative words. A word or phrase is pejorative if it implies contempt or disapproval.

Cuold be right or wrong, but it's no different than African Americans calling each other the n word.
