are they really a nitemare? and could any one tell me how to get a read out of the order they are supposed to go

Federal law requires that the car have the vacuum diagram posted under the hood at the time of new sale. It should be on the underside of the hood. If it is missing, the little car has been in a collision, and a new hood has been installed.
In that case, your options are at the local library in the REFERENCE section, or to purchase a repair manual at the local parts store or book store.

They can be a nightmare. I suggest you go ad buy a Haynes or Chilton Manual from the auto parts store. They both have very detailed diagrams and step by step instructions.

Ironhand has a good idea, but, you can go to a junkyard & peel the sticker off on a warm day to put on your car. P.S. must be exact same model, that's a honda! Manuals can be confusing.
