It is a sad thing. But there is more than just the A word being said. The reason for this is because "Bad Words" are commonly used by everyone these days. Kids learn it early through parents, television, movies, music, other kids at school, on the street. It's just a part of life now. I know it really bothers you, but just know by that you not using these words you are doing good. Just try and ignore it and not let it bother you. Or if you hear someone say it around you kindly let them know that you don't appreciate that kind of language. Although if they are young and saying it they probably don't have any respect. Sorry you feel this way and I hope it gets better.

Get over it, honey. There's a great big world out there outside your bedroom. You'd better learn to quit sweatin' the small stuff, like the words other people use, and get a look at the big picture. Remember 'sticks and stones'? Curse words add color to the language.

RESORTING TO USING THE "A" WORD IS SIMPLY A STEPPING STONE TO OTHER, MORE DEGRADING TERMINOLOGY. IT HAS GENERALLY BECOME ACCEPTABLE FOR ADULTS TO USE CURSE WORDS FOR SIMPLE CONVERSATION, WHICH IS PROBABLY DUE TO A LACK OF VOCABULARY OR LAZINESS. YOUNGER PEOPLE WILL MIMIC ADULTS FOR TWO REASONS: FIRST, THIS IS HOW CHILDREN OF ALL AGES LEARN; AND SECOND, CHILDREN FEEL THEY ARE MORE MATURE IF THEY SOUND LIKE AN ADULT. IT IS SAD THAT PEOPLE TODAY SO READILY USE FOUL LANGUAGE IN EVERY DAY CONVERSATION. MAKE IT A POINT TO SPEAK AS A MATURE YOUNG PERSON BY USING PROPER GRAMMAR, AND AVOIDING DOUBLE NEGATIVES. WHO KNOWS, MAYBE WE CAN SET THE EXAMPLE INSTEAD OF FOLLOWING IT?

well, it's not a really bad word. If you really think about it. I think the best solution is to ignore it. I mean it's not like the F word. It's @$$ right?
