A person who organises and plans everything to do with a conference or event. Such tasks can include:
- Dealing and taking care of the media (if involved)
- Ensuring and coordinating everything such as lighting, chairs, security etc
- Sometimes also is involved in the marketing of the event.
- Also might have to coordinate even thing such as the cleaning of the exhibition hall etc.
It can be an interesting job but busy. You wouldn't get bored but due to timelines in this industry it can be stressful. The hours can also be unsociable.

A person coordinates the event or conference in a hotel from the guest requirement to catering meals.
Usually he organises seminar rooms with audio/video equipments etc and organise tea breaks/lunch etc. Basically you want to hold an event or seminar you have to coordinate with this person.
