You don't say what state you live in.... If you live in a warm-wintered state, a botanical garden, nature center, park.

If you don't, find a local mothers' group and see if they do shared babysitting. You could help another mother out on another day, and she could help you out when you need quiet time...

At home try putting her in a play pen in the same room as you with lots of stimulating toys. It was always soothing to me to hear the little coos and squeals of delight when something surprised the baby.....

You could also ask a teenager in the neighborhood to come and "play" with your daughter for an hour or two in exchange for helping her with her homework, or teaching her to cook!!! Barter system...
