If you want a real top quality Item, there are some new USB condenser mic's on the market.

Previously, all professional mic's came with an XLR connection. You could use a mixer with a pro mic and take an output from that into your PC, but I think the USB condenser could be a real winner.
Hope this helps

depends on how much you want to spend. you could buy a used mixer board and plug in a basic 99 microphone with microphone cord and run a mini stereo plug from the headphone monitor with an adapter. into the in line of your computer. or your could might use a karaoke machine and rune a double ended 1/4 inch stereo cord from the where headphone plug it into the headphone section of the karaoke into the in line of your computer

i have one, and they can be VERY easy to find, go to the nearest best buy or a store that sells electronics, and they are bound to have one, if you plan on being a pro in recording, i would recommend researching online
